System Type: bit operating system, xbased processor. Windows 10 Home. What I did-. Updated all video and graphics drivers.

Issue: startup error message
Ya "Could not find any capable video play modules" was the error message it gave and "Loading ImporterQuickTime. Sorry for not clarifying. Yes, 2 Display Adapters are listed but i dont seem to have the "Switchable Graphics" option that everyone says to use. Also, the "AMD Catalyst" program doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. All i keep finding is "Radeon settings". What ever it is has to be with my AMD graphics, why else would Premier work once i turn it off?

Thanks again for the fast response, im gonna do some more troubleshooting and post my results. Wish me luck.
Well, i looked at everything you linked and cant seem to find the issue. At least i would assume so.
One thing that kept throwing me off was everyone talking about Radean Catalyst and Switchable Graphics, nether which i have. I gave looking in Bios a try too.
I didnt see anything names Display adapter. This sucks Anyone else have any idea? This thing has done nothing but give me issues. In the Radeon settings, can you find an option to have the system default to preferring the AMD card? If not, can you set the preferred graphics adapter on a program-by-program basis?
I have an nVidia card and an Intel graphics chip in my laptop, and the settings allow me to set those options. Looked all over and i dont see a why to manually change it.
It looks like they ether took out a lot of features or just changed it so much you cant tell what is what. This is so disheartening. I'm having the same issue, only with an Nvidia graphics card. I'm using Premiere Pro but I've also tried Nvidia driver version is I have Kaspersky anti-virus installed, but it hasn't alerted me to any detections and I tried temporarily disabling it's protection. I've tried driver versions Tonight I tried completely uninstalling Kaspersky and the issue still occurs.
The Cleaner Tool doesn't work either unfortunately. I first noticed this was an issue when the uninstaller asked me to close it before it could proceed. Just now I was trying to get Premiere Pro CS6 to work and it would freeze while launching until I killed dynamiclinkmanager.
I tried running GPUSniffer manually and it took about a minute or two before it gave any output. I think this is the most likely cause of the issue as Premiere is probably relaunching after a timeout and gives up before it receives the delayed response. The error I'm receiving would be due to it reaching it's limit in retries and simply failing. Just renamed "dynamiclinkmanager.
Also GPUSniffer now outputs within less than 5 seconds. Will this workaround cause any problems or can I just leave it as it is? For me, it was Windows firewall that was causing the problem.

We have seen similar issues before, where latest drivers are not able to communicate properly with the legacy cards. Another thing that you can try is to completely disable Kaspersky anti-virus and try launching Premiere Pro.
If nothing helps, doing the clean installation of Adobe can resolve this issue. Here's the output from GPUSniffer. Go to original post.
